“A Recipe for a Classic Restaurant”
Many ingredients combine to create a classic restaurant. First and foremost, it takes a grand beginning. A start that conveys a sense of pedigree and of great things to come. Geoffrey's Malibu certainly has met that standard. Located on the site of the former Holiday House, a resort/hotel/watering hole to the stars for decades, it was designed by world-famous architect Richard Neutra. It opened its doors in 1948, and immediately established itself as the ultimate destination, hosting the gods and goddesses of its day, including Frank Sinatra, Shirley MacLaine, Lana Turner, a then-unknown senator from Massachusetts by the name of John F. Kennedy and Hollywood legend Marilyn Monroe.
