“Experience the Wild in Mahtowa!”
Park Lake Resort is located approximately 130 miles north of the Twin Cities and approximately 35 miles south of Duluth (between Barnum and Cloquet). Locally known as an incredible pan fishing lake, Park Lake is 376 acres and a wonderful escape to the north woods of Minnesota--whether it’s a getaway for a whole week or just a weekend! The campground consists of 27 seasonal sites and, based on availability, will accommodate RV camping for $30/night or tenting for $20/night. Join others who have chosen Park Lake Resort as their home away from home! If you prefer the luxury of indoor comfort, we have four lovely furnished cabins that moderately range in price from $450 to $660 per week (flexible dates with two-night minimum, excluding holiday weeks). The most popular are our twin lakeside cabins (Cabin 1 and Cabin 2) which are side-by-side, two-bedroom cabins overlooking the lake and open year round. With a large wrap-around deck surrounding the twin cabins and gas fireplaces in each, they are perfect alone or booked together for a family/friend gathering (limit 6 adults per lakeside cabin).
