Nestled on a 4500 foot high bluff in beautiful Maggie Valley, North Carolina, you'll find historic Smokey Shadows Lodge. Built in 1953 of native stone and hand-hewn chestnut logs, Smokey Shadows is a rustic country lodge with all charm and character of the Great Smoky Mountains. Smokey Shadows is open year round. This is the perfect setting for your special occasion, holiday celebration, or just an escape to spend some quiet reflecting hours. We are located just 30 minutes west of Asheville and border the Blue Ridge Parkway which runs through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
