Blackhawk Ski Club

Blackhawk Ski Club has a mission to teach young people life-long competitive, outdoor sports. These sports include: alpine skiing, ski jumping, snowboarding, cross country skiing, biathlon, Nordic combined, and mountain biking. Our club is incorporated as a non-stock, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization located in the Town of Middleton, Wisconsin, immediately west of Madison. We are a group of families and single members who thoroughly enjoy outdoor sports. On our sixty acres of land we have  downhill and cross country ski trails, ski jumps on our five jumps, a new biathlon facility that includes a 10 pt range,  and  five miles of mountain bike trails. We offer an after-school cross country ski program for disadvantaged youth. We have an active Ski Patrol that is affiliated with the National Ski Patrol System to promote safe skiing. Over the years, we have built facilities and acquired maintenance equipment, including two heated chalets, snowmaking equipment, and machines to keep the slopes well groomed.
