The Norman Rockwell Museum is an art museum in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, dedicated to the art of Norman Rockwell. It is home to the world's largest collection of original Rockwell art.
Wonderful museum includes Rockwell's works not frequently seen in-print. Special exhibitions also features other famous American illustrators. First floor also houses all of Rockwell's covers for the Saturday Evening Post over the years as they appeared with headlines. Museum admission also includes access to Rockwell's studio, which was moved to the property, but is full intact. Events are hosted on the outdoor patio (check the calendar). And there's an entire room for kid's activities on the lowest floor. Beautiful grounds surround the museum. The museum also has a gift shop and cafe, and is located very close to the Botanical Gardens. Admission is discounted for certain members, and free for members of the North American Reciprocal Museum network.
