Beautiful, beautiful campground. Unfortunately local seasonal campers reserve the premium spots for May through October and bring in excess clutter. Natural conflict between the locals and "outsiders". Hope the Township eliminates the seasonal option and increases prices. Ludington business would benefit from turnover on the premium sites. This place could be the crown jewel of the eastern shore.

Stayed Fri-Sun in mid-June. All sites were full w/o feeling cramped. Easy, adjacent beach access via stairs or road down the bluff. If you crave full-hookups this is not your jam - dry camping only. That said, access to potable water was w/in 100’, likely throughout.

This is more like camping . gravel on heavily wooded sites on bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. Cloudy so we did not get the great sunset, but the lighthouse was a cool view. Spotless bathrooms. Off the beaten path so very quiet. If you are out of state you pay a one time fee of 8$ in addition to camp fee. Great place, many seasonal campers. Grab a spot if you can
