“One of Louisville’s oldest neighborhood gems”
Zanzabar has established a local reputation as one of Louisville’s oldest neighborhood gems and newest casual cuisine and live entertainment destinations. Located in the same building the original Zanzibar opened 80 years ago, the renovated Zanzabar offers a cafeteria style lunch, dinner 7 days a week, rotating micro-brews, live music, and the wildly popular Sunday trivia. Serve you soon!
Open everyday for lunch, dinner, or just beers and cocktails. Voted as the Leo Weekly's Readers Choice – Best New Bar/Club.
Went there not expecting much for food but wanting to play games. When we got our food it was sooo good! ... The video games were fun too.
This is hands down my favorite bar in Louisville. Very local and friendly environment. I'm a U of L alumn and it's hard to not run into someone I'm acquainted with. The music on the weekends is amazing. They've even hosted Sleigh Bells and Big Gigantic in the past. Rumor has it the owners have a passion for restoring old pinball and arcade machines. The entire building venue is lined with all the classics. They also rotate out regularly to keep things interesting. So grab a group, throw down on some pac-man, put on your dancing shoes, and enjoy everything this place has to offer!
Cool looking place with a nice outdoor area! Easy to chat, even late at night. Love all the pinball machines.
