“A rabbit warren of bars & nightclubs in one building!”
For 36 years now, locally owned and operated Phoenix Hill Tavern has stayed on the cutting edge by providing only the hottest live music has to offer. No place in Louisville offers you more variety and entertainment choices. Providing 3 stages of great live music, a Karaoke party in the Living Room, an Outdoor Dance Party on PHT's spectacular Deck Bar, incredible live national concerts and exciting special events! All for one low admission charge!
Combine all that with phree, close to the door parking, reasonably priced drinks, excellent service, phriendly people, and theres no question WHY Louisville's world famous, Phoenix Hill Tavern was "THE BEST OF THE BEST OF LOUISVILLE IN 2006"!
James got it right. This place is literally insane. Each room is themed differently and it just keeps going. There was a live 80s cover band when I was there, complete with groupies. Definitely an interesting cross section of people. I highly recommend grinding in the sand pits.
Get ready to party if you hit up Phoenix Hill, but don't let that scare you either. Do it. Do it. Do it.
This place is absolute madness. It's like this endless rabbit warren of bars and nightclubs, each with a different theme, drinks, and music. I remember a rock club, a karaoke bar, a jazz club and a huge two level tiki nightclub playing cheesy tunes. Crowd was a tad on the very rowdy and definitely there to party pretty hard. An essential place to see, just for how weird it is!
Sadly, this place is now closing :(
This place is INSANE! You have no idea what you're getting into. Keep on moving--there's a new room, a new bar, a new theme, and a new band around every corner. I was there on a Friday night and it was strangely somewhat empty... Didn't matter to me, I had a blast!
