“Enter our tranquil world”
After we spent several years of relaxing weekends at our weekend retreat in Lost River, WV. Our best friendship quickly turned into business partners as we (Michael Cooley and Gary Robinson) decided to make an investmest in the what some weekenders have called "the hub" of the Lost River valley --- the Guesthouse Lost River. When we first met 15 years ago, we both worked in the hospitality industry including consulting for Wyndham properties (formerly Cendant Corporation) and having an extensive service back ground with Wegmans and Marriott. We decided after 15 years of living and working in Washington DC that it was time to chase our dream of owning an Inn. The Guesthouse is ultimately a resort and destination retreat for the people looking for a getaway from Washington DC/Baltimore MD as well as hosting corporate, wedding or other special events.
This is a GREAT guesthouse, so relaxing and in a beautiful location. Great restaurant too. Owners are extremely friendly. Stay here!
