The Standard, Downtown LA

This is an awesome, iconic LA hotel. It's retro minimalist decor is fantastic, and the level of service and comfort is second to none. The rooftop pool area is nice, but a little uber cool of a vibe for my taste. You're right in the heart of downtown here so loads of amazing restaurants and stuff nearby. They'll give you some great recommendations at the front desk. Oh, for what you get the price is pretty solid too.

What a great Friday night this was at the Standard Downtown! Right next to Metro Red line, one can easily gain access everywhere around.

Beautiful building, in great condition. As soon as we entered the people working there, were alerted and helped us immediately with our staff and checking in.

The facilities within the hotel are great and we totally loved the pool. Also, the rooftop bar is just great and plays great music.

Strongly recommended.
