“One the Bourbon Trail”
The Hill House is located in the CENTER of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, which make it the perfect base for your daily trips. We're just 3 miles from Maker's Mark Distillery and only a few minutes from Heaven Hill, Jim Beam, Wild Turkey, Barton Brands and more. This area of Kentucky has much more to offer other than the Bourbon Trail. Here you'll find My Old Kentucky Home, made famous by Stephan Foster. The Kentucky Dinner Train will take you through the hills of Kentucky while you enjoy a wonderful meal and the vistas. There are several Civil War sites here as well as the first settlements of the Catholic Church. Please visit the Special Interests page for websites and more information. Our southern hospitality shows not only in our warm home, but in everything we do for you. Each day there is a happy hour catered to your schedule and desires as well as an abundant home-cooked breakfast that will have you smacking your lips! You won't go away hungry, that's for sure! The old Victorian farm house that is now The Hill House, was first built in the 1860's. I was a private home for all those years until falling into disrepair in the 1990's. We bought it in 2000 and began restoring it to it's former beauty. It has been a bed and breakfast since and we hope you will come and enjoy it with us. We'll keep a light on for ya!
Lisa Marie was such an awesome host. Her warm southern hospitality was exactly what these city girls needed. Clean and cozy home. Breakfast started amazing with dessert! What's not to love! Highly recommended if you plan on hitting the Bourbon Trail. Close to the Maker's Mark. We will be returning soon!
