Whitney Portal

The Mount Whitney Portal Hostel is a great place for people to stay. With bunk beds and new rooms, it's luxurious...for a hostel. It has a view of Mt. Whitney, but being in town, it allots for walking to restaurants and stores. There's a lobby area for others to gather and a small store if you've forgotten something, or need a souvenir. There are showers for hikers, if that's all you need too. Fresh coffee, a microwave, and a fridge are wonderful accommodations for those traveling on a budget as well. Not only does the Whitney Portal Hostel offer private rooms and shared rooms, all with private showers and baths, the hostel also offers an area to do trainings and/or workshops.
