“keeping the spirit of connie hansen alive”

The Connie Hansen Garden was developed between 1973 and 1993 by Constance P. Hansen, "Connie", who was an enthusiastic gardener, both a collector and an artist. After her death, the Conservancy was formed to save the garden from destruction. The volunteers of the Conservancy are stewards of the horticultural, artistic and ecological style, as well as the spirit, of the late Connie Hansen. It is the mission of the Conservancy to preserve, restore, maintain and continue to develop the Garden to provide a focus and a facility to encourage education and involvement with gardening and related arts in the community.Visitors are always welcome to walk around the garden during daylight hours. There are many paths, gravelled and grass. Take any route that appeals and stay as long as you like.
