This place is pure Americana. Really neat little park with lots of places to stretch out and take a break from the road. It's free, so if it's on your way, you have no reason not to stop and take a look at some of the crazy sculptures.

The park looked like it was a movie set. The whole place was really enchanted. It looked like it was something from "The Hobbit"; with all those big sculptures. It is a nice park where you could have a picnic with your loved ones. Not meant to be stayed at for the whole day, though. But it's free, so you got nothing to lose.

The Petrified Forest was a lovely place to stop. The little museum had a lot of things that were unique and that I hadn't seen in other museums. The people were friendly and it was just a nice place to stretch our legs.

Neat place to stretch your legs. There is a couple working the gift shop and museum that were super sweet and told some great stories about the area and the park itself. However, if you're passing through at off times you don't need to go when the museum is open - the park is open to stroll through at any time.

Totally agree with other post about a slice of America here. Folks at the museum and gift shop had some really great stories/information about the area, you should definitly strike up a conversation.
