“A True Delta experience”
Deep in the Mississippi Delta on the famous blues highway, lies a musical treasure: the Highway 61 Blues Museum in Leland. Nestled in the cradle of American music, Leland produced some of the major influences and early movers in the blues, and carried a musical tradition that even made an indelible mark on rock & roll.
Really cool place to visit. I highly recommend this place to stop at! Great stories too.
No trip down the Blues Trail is complete without a stop at the Highway 61 Blues Museum. There's a small fee once you get in, which is more of a donation. If you're lucky Mr. Pat Thomas will play guitar while you peruse the exhibits and memorabilia in the three rooms.
