The Lee's Summit History Museum is supported by the Lee's Summit Historical Society who is dedicated to preserving the community's rich cultural heritage. View artifacts from: founder William B. Howard's family, Cole Younger, jazz musician Pat Metheny's family, along with displays on area farms and businesses. Admission and tours are free, although we greatly appreciate any donations. Our hours of operation are 10:00am-2:00pm Thurs-Fri and 10:00-4:00pm Sat.

Great little musuem with good archives, and informative volunteers. Photography is not allowed, but I was able to take pictures in their gift shop, which offers local historical books and art work. Read more
