Perfect North Slopes

the only real skiing option in the area... although it's just a little hill, they offer inter-tubing and have some cool events in the summertime for cyclists etc.

I freakin' love this place. Yes, it's small. But you won't find any skiing in the midwest that tops it. The staff is incredible as well. Prices (as with any ski place) are up there, but the night skiing is beautiful. Get out there early to get laps in before the lines fill up!

As a person who had my only skiing experience here, I will say that if you've never done it before and just want to try it out, this place is good. The tubing is also fun, but seriously, bundle up-- their tubing slopes are fun but there wasn't a nice lodge or anything by the tubes. It was just a heated tent.

For Ohio, this place is great. Quite a few trails (small, but it's Ohio) and never TOO crazy busy. Also a good family spot as, again, the trails aren't too long or difficult.

I love this place. Do not expect to get "great skiing" in. But then again...it's Lawrenceburg, Indiana. I grew up on the east coast skiing a bunch and I was still having a blast at Perfect North. They go hard on the night skiing (almost 7 days a week!) and they've actually got some pitch despite the fact that the decent is one of the quickest I've ever experience. If you're coming here for tubing disregard all my previous allegations. This place is top in the country.
