Quality Inn Lawrence

This place isn’t worth even an $89 stay! We stayed during KU graduation week and the price was jacked up to $219 per night for less than Budget Inn quality. The pro’s…the hotel is in a perfect location to the University of Kansas, the pool was fun for my kids, and the staff was nice. However, the whole place needs a makeover. It is really out dated and falling apart, there are no usb ports, the ceiling in our room was peeling paint, the lights in our room flickered and made annoying noises, the room faucet would only trickle water, the air conditioner stopped working in the middle of the night, there was dirt and garbage behind the beds, the ice machines were always empty, the toasters barely worked, and they advertise a hot tub that wasn’t even hot. My family usually goes camping so we are not looking for Hilton Luxury standards, but at that ridiculous price we expected a cleaner place with at least a working hot tub. Choice Hotels you should be ashamed!! This is a prime location for a hotel and it is a disgrace.
