Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on April 08, 2019• Site is level, gravel and dirt
• Internet is okay
• Cable is bad, very poor reception
• Showers have lots of pressure, but temperature is hard to control, in one stall absolutely no hot water, next stall did have hot water
• Showers are DIRTY, wear your shower shoes
• Laundry room closed indefinitely
• This KOA really has nothing to offer, it’s beside a very lousy casino
• Lots of rules, including “no working on your RV”, but the guy two stalls over can rebuild his motorcycle with no issues
• There are many other options for camping in this area
For the nightly price of $21.45 (with KOA card) you get access to the Avi Casino pool, gym, and beach. The beach is on a nice little cove on the Colorado River, nice sand with tiki umbrellas, jet ski rental, and a short walk to the bar. The casino has all the fixes for the gamblers, as well as a movie theater. It's definitely not the prettiest place around, but its quite the bang for the buck. There are grocery, auto parts, and hardware stores within 3 miles which was handy for a project I was working on. Needles Hwy south of the casino is a very rough road, I'm not sure how smooth Veterans Hwy is, but it can't be any worse.

We stayed here as a rest stop on the way home from the Grand Canyon. Pulled in and were allowed to change sites with no issues. They lead you to your site and offer to help with parking. Sites are gravel and decently spaced.
We would stay here again.
Did not utilize any of the casino amenities that come with a stay due to a short stay

It was about 115 degrees out so the stay was unpleasant - no fault of the campground. We did check in at around 5:30pm and had to get a ride over to the casino to check in. Hookups were fine. Casino was... ok. Did get to watch the Dodger's game so that was great.

We were only planning on staying one night , but it was 100 degrees & after going to the pool we decided to stay another night! Our space was pretty close to the office so it was nice. They do have some spots in the “north-forty” that is pretty much an open parking lot. I wouldn’t want to stay out there, especially if it’s hot. They offer a shuttle that goes back and forth to the casino. We just walked though. They have an enclosed dog run. The pool has a snack bar with food & drinks ( full bar). We had the buffet breakfast and on Wed. it’s half price. Food was good , with LOTS of choices.

This KOA had many open empty spaces. For some reason we were placed midway back in the park. There is only one restroom area at the front of the park so it is a hike to the front office/restroom. We never did get the wifi to work. The office closed at 4:30 PM so no help from the front desk. (We were able to check in before the office closed, but did not notice the wifi was not working until after she had closed the office for the day). Also, if you check in after the office is closed you have to wait for a person from the casino to pick you up in a golf cart and take you to the casino to check in. One of the worst KOA experiences we have ever had. We would not stay at this park again.
We did not disconnect the toad so did not drive around to sightsee. There is a swimming pool plus other amenities at the casino across the street that KOA guests have access to, but we did not check out due to the extreme heat outside. We did enjoy a nice fireworks show that night - not sure if that is a nightly deal with Laughlin or not. On a positive note, we did not hear any road noise at night.
As we drove through Laughlin the next morning it looked there were other campgrounds available so you might want to check out the amenities for the other parks first before booking with this KOA.
**Also, if you take the River Road from I-40 it is very bumpy. Lots of potholes.

Where to start. Arrived 30ft TT two slides and tow vehicle ( they don’t account for that). They first tried to give us a site 8ft wide with a fire hydrant in middle of it. Go back to office they give us map with 8 sites listed tell us go find one and tell us which you took. Found one barely fit into and reported it in person to office. No where to park truck so we got creative. Neighbor shows up not there fault at all. Office tells them park in 763 no one else around you. Five wheel with big slides that came to our steps at door. The staff is completely ignorant of sites and placement of rigs and sizes. They parked a camper van in a 40ft class a spot pull thru. We get knock at door asked why we are in spot. We don’t belong we explained we changed on day one this is day 5. So frustrated. sites are sand and you sink. Never again. Would rather park at Walmart. Also bathrooms and showers are nasty dirty clogged toilets. Laundry had 14 washers with 8 broke and 12 dryers with 5 broke.

About 30 minutes before they closed the main office for the night we received a pleasant call asking if we still planned on staying the night. I explained that we had been on the road for 10 hours and would be arriving within the next 10 minutes. When I got there the office gal was very nice and took her time explaining all our options and codes.
They had asked how many slides we had when I booked and made sure to put us in a large parking area, it was 25 x 50 wide and was more than spacious and it backed up to a very nice green field where kids were bumping a volleyball around.
Since we were coming from cold climates and it was our trailers maiden voyage we hadn’t filled our water heater so I walked a short distance to the facilities to shower in the morning. On the way there I must have been greeted “good morning” by at least 4 different families that were staying there. The showers and bathroom area was very clean and I met a older woman who was from a town in Idaho about 2 hours from me and we chatted for quite some time.
When staying at the RV park get a discount at the resorts golf course. You also have access to the rest of the resort which includes, a pool, an 8 theater cinema, multiple dinner and breakfast options and a casino.
We loved our stay, we felt the RV area was clean and well maintained, it was quiet yet kids still rode around on their bikes and played ball in the field. We would recommend this park to anyone.

The Park was very convenient as it adjacent to the Avi Hotel and casino. The hotel has a lot of amenities such as restaurants casino pool and river lagoon. It is also adjacent to a nice golf course. The park is all gravel except for one green way in the center. This is why it’s so dusty. Also there is only has one area for showers and restrooms. Lots of fire crackers both nights. Grocery stores are only about 5 minutes away.

But the spaces are small and the people overflow into your lot. Abundance of spaces means that the spaces are small and close proximity. The place services the casino. The casino isn’t bad but payout rates suck. It does have a great beach, A very nice pool you can use if you’re in the campground, movie theater, entertainment venues, sports gambling, restaurants, arcade and children’s play areas. But they will take your money quickly. Just beware. This campground is okay for a short period but I wouldn’t want to be here a long time.
