Our site this time was in the new section of the famcamp, site was level and concrete pad long enough. The sites are a bit close to each other. Overall this is a good place for a stop over. If staying long term might opt for the bit more expensive older sites with mature trees and space between sites. We do like this famcamp and usually have good luck in getting a reservation when needed. Wi-fi is usable.

The Fam Camp is located on Nellis AFB and requires a military/DoD I.D. for entrance.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Desert Eagle as we transitioned from homeowners to full-time RVers. Desert Eagle was our home for about three months while my husband was finishing up his Air Force contract.
Our site was in the newer section towards the back of the park. However, the older part of the park, the "premium sites" are a lot more spacious. The shower, washer/dryer, and dog park amenities were within 50 feet of our site making a easy workflow for daily tasks. We particularly liked that there were dog waste stations conveniently located all around the park.
Throughout our entire stay the campgrounds remained clean and stocked. Campground employees were always friendly and willing to help with whatever we needed.
You can't go wrong for $22/night for full-hookups! If the heat during the summer months weren't brutal, we would've stay there a bit longer.

Nice peaceful, well maintained park. The park WiFi is poor in the old section. Starlink works great. It can be a bit noisy, but that's expected from a fighter base. Love the sound of freedom.

Check in at office to get your site assignment. They lead you to your site. We were in the newer section, side by side sites. The utilities were great with a concrete pad. The old wagon wheel section has more trees and more space between sites. Bathrooms are awesome, best we have seen.
Everything about the park was great. Even got propane from the Vegas propane truck, if you see him in the campground, grab him up.
Thunderbirds practiced overhead several days, it can be quite loud but we didn't mind.
The park wifi worked great but we were towards the front, I'm not sure how it worked if you are towards the back.

We stayed in the older “premium” area and loved it. As others have said it is a nice park with everything you need nearby (bathroom/showers, gas and propane, even a few restaurants on base). Of course you will need an active or retired military or civilian ID to access the area. This is a short review, as I completely agree with the other reviews posted here.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is close to Las Vegas and above all else, very clean and obviously safe. Our site was level and spacious. There are also parking spots around the sites and walking trails to take the pups on a walk around. Tmobile home internet and Verizon both worked for video calls, gaming, and streaming. Didn't test our starlink but saw others out so I imagine it also worked well.
I am a contractor with a CAC card and was able to stay at this fam camp. If you can get on the base, you can stay in the park. Some other fam camps have restrictions but there were no issues getting a spot here.

Easy to find, if you just follow the signs. Definitely go to Range road off of Las Vegas Blvd and not other gates. Commissary, and Exchange are an easy drive. The park itself is awesome!! Sites are a bit close together in the pull through areas. WiFi was non existent.

Best military FamCsmp ever!
Huge sites/pads around the circles, lots of dog waste stations, clean individual showers/bathrooms and .75 washer/dryers. Our kids had a blast riding bikes and playing basketball. We stayed 5 days and didn’t want to leave.
