“experience the paranormal”
Paranormal enthusiasts visiting Zak Bagans’ The Haunted Museum will venture down creepy winding hallways and secret passages into more than 30 rooms that rival scenes from Hollywood horror films, setting the stage for frightening facts about each paranormal piece such as the Dybbuk Box known as the world’s most haunted object. The vintage wine cabinet inspired the movie “The Possession” and is said to house a malicious spirit. Shortly following its arrival, holes mysteriously began to appear around the artifact. A Downtown Las Vegas marketing executive also witnessed a black-cloaked figure pass through the exhibit’s closed door during a private tour with Bagans.
My Wife and I were lucky enough to visit Zak Bagans’ Haunted Museum in October of 2018, while on a road trip from New Mexico to Anaheim, CA. I am a huge fan and have always been intrigued by the paranormal, so this place was a must see! In our group, we had believers and skeptics alike, but by the end of the almost hour and a half long guided tour, it was very obvious that we were ALL sleeping with the lights on! With each segment or “room” carefully themed and the route carefully mapped out, there is hardly enough time to catch your breath in between scares! Whether it be Ed Gein’s cauldron or Peggy the Doll’s room; Demon House or the notorious Dybbuk Box, this place has no equal and is on a level that only Zak Bagans could have imagined and created. And even if you’re not super into the paranormal, this place has American history flooding the veins of this 1930’s era mansion. The Haunted Museum has got two thumbs up from me and will undoubtedly be in our future travel plans for a Round 2! When you go, admission is $44 (money well spent), takes about 1 1/2 hours, and there is no photography of any kind. Bummer I know, but the tour is done so well that the memories are burnt into your subconscious. And make sure you say “hello” to Angry Joe! Cheers fellow travelers and we hope to see you at The Haunted Museum!
