They’ve done significant improvements to the RV sites and are very nicely manicured with separate picnic and fire spots. Good WiFi available as well.
However, sites are not level and it took some effort to get our rig leveled up as the blocking kept sinking/shifting in the heavy rock substrate.
And, there are no dumps on site. We were told to use a “nearby” state park that was 30 min away. That’s an hours drive to empty tanks.
Bottom line - if you want to enjoy amenities such as rafting, paintball, zip lining then this is a great place to stop especially with kids. Just be prepared to carry your crap out with you.

Great campground to stay at with both tent and RV parking. We stayed in a tent location, three tents to the one spot. There was enough parking for two vehicles. Only downfall is that they don't have designated tent pads, so it was a little difficult finding flat areas for all three tents. Sites were decently separated so you felt like you actually had privacy. The campground also allowed dogs so that was a big perk. Our camp site was closest to the bathrooms, and they were NICE. Very clean and stocked. Fresh water was available near the bathrooms and each site had a fire pit, picnic table, and charcoal grill. I didn't see a dump station for RV's though so that might be an issue for some. Big bonus that it was so close to Fayetteville and the breweries there, only a 5-minute drive into town or 10-minute drive to Wal-Mart / fast food areas. Only rating a 4 star for site quality due to not having tent pads.

Adventures on the Gorge has RV, tent, and cabin camping. We stayed in an RV site. There are 19 sites, all pull-through. This was our last of 7 campgrounds on a 2k mile trip, and was by far the nicest. The RV sites look newly constructed, with plenty of fresh gravel. RV parking was nearly level. Only needed an inch on passenger side. The slope down for the truck was significant, only making it slightly challenging to reconnect to the trailer. Each site has a picnic table, charcoal grill (very clean), fire ring and trash can. All equipment is new and clean. Note, there is not a cooking grate over the fire ring.
There are tons of activities to do at the park. We did a full day rafting trip on the lower New River. Amenities and restaurants are walking distance, but also have plenty of parking if you want to drive over. Bath house is brand new and everything is working. Only complaint is in the morning it had not been cleaned recently and paper supplies were low.
There is a new dump station that was the nicest I've seen. Sites are electric only, but there is potable water near the dump station and near the front of the sites.
