The Library of Michigan promotes, advocates and consistently works to achieve the highest level of library service to the State of Michigan, its government, its libraries and its residents. Services include: current and historical Michigan books and materials; state and federal government publications; state Law Library; one of the 10 largest genealogy collections in the country; Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, which reaches Michigan residents who cannot use standard printed material; consultation, support and information to librarians, library staff and trustees throughout the state; demographic, economic and social data.
