Lakewood Wing Crawl

For the 5th year, the public will cast their ballots to determine who has the “Best Wings in Lakewood”. The pub crawl/ bar hop model will again be used for 2010. Passes will entitle the crawler to 4 wings (2 buffalo-style, 2 open flavor) from each of our contestants. Cost is $15 in advance. Online sales are available through August 18th. Day of passes will cost $20. Guests will visit each location to enjoy their wings and wash it down with a beverage (or two). Event will start at 1pm and final ballots are to be cast by 7pm.Start and end the day at your favorite bar if you like. But there is no set route, so you are free to go to each location at your own pace and in whichever order you chose. Representatives from Pillars will be there to check you in provide you with what you need for the day and get you started.Shuttle service will be available to help you along the couple blocks in between. Walk, take a shuttle, crawl if you must but please don’t drive. One shuttle, red line, will run between the locations at the east end of the route (Screaming Rooster, Mars Bar, Merry Arts, Geppettos), and the second shuttle, green line, will run between the locations at the west end of the route (Geppettos, Pug Mahone’s, Put in Bay Lakewood, Kenilworth, Riverwood Cafe, Harry Buffalo, Around the Corner).This year’s the judges panel included; Pete Kenworthy WEWS 5, Greg Brinda WKNR 850 AM, Kate Spirgen Sun News,Janet Nguyen Metromix Cleveland and Jason Handman Action 19 News.
