The Lofton Reservoir Campground is a popular fishing in a high forest setting (6,100' elevation). Accommodations include 26 tent and trailer sites, picnic tables and fire grates, drinking water, a boat ramp, outhouses, a campground host, waste grey water dump, and an accessible fishing pier. Activities include boating (electric motors only, and a 5 mph speed limit), bird watching, wildlife viewing, fishing, swimming, picnicking and photography. Please pack out your garbage and gather your firewood, for camp use, nearby. Directions from Lakeview: Travel 25 miles west on Highway 140, and turn left on Forest Road 3715. Take Forest Road 3715 for 7 miles, then turn left on Forest Road 013. Continue on Forest Road 013 for 1 mile and you should see the campground entrance sign.

I forgot to add the website says no potable water. I didn't look to see if this is true while I was there.

Remote. Cute. Nicely spaced camp spots. Pretty basic. Pack out your trash no garbage disposal on site. Tiny lake but nice. Water extremely low due to the drought 2020.
