China Peak Mountain Resort provides a big Sierra experience close to home – with total acreage, elevations, vertical rise and terrain comparable to many Lake Tahoe resorts. China Peak Mountain Resort is located only 65 miles northeast of Fresno at scenic Huntington Lake in the Sierra National Forest. The mountain has 1,679 feet of vertical with a base elevation of 7,030 with the peak at just over 8,700 feet. The resort offers seven chairlifts, a T-Bar and three moving carpets for the beginner skiers and snowboarders. The parks at China Peak provide some of the best freestyle terrain in Central California. Our parks offer a variety of park terrain in the Canyon, the Ridge and the always-popular Tollhouse Park. Our parks include a full mix of jumps in all shapes and sizes with step-ups, step-downs, hips and spines as well as a variety of jibs including new custom-made boxes and rails. Look for our progression park in Ullmann’s Alley with mini features for those just starting out on freestyle terrain.
