“A Lake Isabella staple”
Over 50 years ago Bo and Margaret Williams bought a piece of property overlooking the majestic mountains and the new lake where they dreamed of building a future. In 1955 he built the café, but it was ten years later and after he built the lodge that the family was able to move to the valley permanently. In 1969 the café burned to the ground. A year later Bo added a kitchen to the to the lodge lobby to make a new dining room. Several years later the dining room was expanded and the saloon was added. Bo loved a party and Margaret enjoyed entertaining. The children, Pat, Pam & Wes were raised in an atmosphere to offer hospitality and service at early ages.In 1991 Pam and her family took over the operations of running the restaurant and the lodge. Her children Joey and John, were raised in an atmosphere to offer hospitality and service at early ages. Bo passed away in 2002, but Margaret is often in the dining room greeting guests. Wes and his family and Pat are also frequently offering their services when they are “home“. On many evenings 3 generations of the family are working in the dining room to offer excellent food, hospitality & service.
