Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on November 21, 2021We just got our 38 ft motor home last month and wanted to test the whole process of not only driving it, but using the hook-ups, cooking, shower, etc., and do it someplace near our kids so they could come rescue us if need be. đ. Launch Pointe met those criteria. We were very happy with the campground. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Everything looks like it is very new and clean. The amenities for children are great with a nice playground and a water playground as well. There was some road noise, but not too bad. We had a view of Lake Elsinore from our site, even though we werenât right on the lake and it was a nice walk at the beach, but the signs say no swimming. Overall this was a great experience for us.

Splash pad, pool, restaurant, lake, rentals, grassy fields, playgrounds...
Spots are big at âthe fieldsâ and âtrack and trailsâ sections and the sites encircle a common 1 acre grass area... a little tight at the âaquaplane laneâ and âcanopy courtâ as these sites encircle splash pad and playground respectively.
Any size rv will fit here but beware of backing in over right shoulder on every single site here as well as large trees cramping any slide outs.

The campground and staff are really nice. The amenities are great! They have the splash pad, playground, pool, nice laundry, lake access, and restaurant. The only downsides are: 1- the sites are so skinny. We have a 41ft fifth wheel with slides in both sides and we were squeezing in. 2- the sites are SO un-level, at least at the playground spots. It took us, and our neighbors, HOURS to get level. We had to go back into town to buy more blocks because the 20 we had werenât enough to get level. 3- the weekend crowd is rowdy, but during the week is nice and quiet. 4- the surrounding area isnât great, while we were there, there was a loud explosion and fire right outside of the park. But the campground is gated and security seems to be driving around a lot which was great. Overall we had a nice stay and we will visit again!

This city owned RV Park on the lake was fully remodeled in 2019. It remains neat and clean, family oriented, lots of amenities, well maintained. The staff is strict with the rules. The park is close to ships and services but this part of Lake Elsinore is old and a little worn. That didn't matter to me as I spent most of my time enjoying the park. AT&T signal was good, the park's WiFi was good. The sites around the splash pad and play areas are tight but each site has a small fence providing dinner separation.

This park has been completely redone and is now called Launch Pointe. Their website is https://launch-pointe.com/
WOWWWW!! Hands down the best RV park if you are looking for FUN. I have been here multiple times now, and my family is never disappointed (we even stayed here for a month while we were in between moving homes). Spots are pretty much fully booked out weekends in advance, so book early on unless you can snag a cancellation. You can pick your RV spot and pay a small lock fee, depending on what area of the park you want to stay in (next to the kids' amenities, by the lawn, buddy spots sharing a patio, long- term section, etc). They also have a section with permanent antique trailers to rent if you don't have a rig of your own! They also have huts you can rent. Bring your golf carts and/or bikes to get around!
They have a great restaurant and bar (just wait till you try their coconut shrimp!) The kids' park and splash pad are both amazing! They also have a nice pool and jacuzzi. Super nice laundry room that accepts credit cards (no having to worry about getting quarters).
This park has its own access to the lake. They have boat rentals (they can give you a slip of paper with info on their different boats and prices) and/or you can bring your own boat and launch it there. The park is fully gated with security, so Ive always felt safe here (even if the rest of Lake Elsinore isn't so nice).
The employees are all so nice and helpful, **The ONLY complaint we have ever had about this park is that some of the spots are not level and can be difficult to get into if you have a bigger rig (at least around the park and splash pad areas). Definitely bring your leveling blocks if you plan on staying in these sections OR book a spot on the field section which is more level.
