La Cuisine de Maman at Vermilionville offers authentic Cajun and Creole cuisine to the Lafayette, LA area. We pride ourselves on offering our distinguished restaurant patrons an authentic, bayou experience. We offer a large seafood buffet on Fridays for your enjoyment.
Stopped by here in February 2013. Seeing the buildings, the village was really nice. Go at your own pace. It was a great place to let my 2.5 year old do some supervised running around. There are artisans there, but very few of them were informative. That would be my only disappointment. Otherwise, a great little place to stop, walk around, and enjoy some history.
