If you just happen to be passing through East Tennessee and just happen to be on Asheville Highway, there is a restaurant that you do not want to miss. Even if it is 50 miles out of the way, you still do not want to miss it. No ordinary restaurant, this is a drive-in. You pull into the parking lot, and you automatically feel as though you have gone back in time. An amazing, original back-in-the-day drive-in, garnering great reviews with every curbside window rolldown. Acclaimed for wonderful food and friendly, excellent service. Among the populars: frosty cokes, cherry cokes, peanut butter milkshakes (and just about any other kind as well), cheeseburgers & hamburgers, chuckwagons, biscuits & gravy, grilled cheese, fries, banana splits, and more.
My boyfriend got a double cheese burger which was really good, but my chicken tenders were just subpar. It's a cute place with very friendly waitresses and an old fashioned feeling. I would recommend the burger if you decide to go!
