Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on March 11, 2022We spent a couple of months at this KOA during winter months January and February. The campground is clean. The back row is more for longer term campers or long term. The sites are good if you can get pull thru in the front sections. The back sections the problem where there are uneven and un-level lots. There is also minor flooding when it rains.
Another issue that we had is when we tried to extend our stay it was beyond difficult to book a site. We had to move multiple times for people who were not even there.
The campground was full of Northern snowbirds who apparently book the majority of the campground all winter. Then they don't stay there. Their rigs are there but they are not.
No one could make changes, rearrange or do anything with out the manager being involved. The manager was seldom there.
The campground is a little dated. The pool is in decent condition. There are coin operated washers and dryers but only a few. The public showers were clean.
There is also a small commissary type store on site. It has some basic staples plus some tourist items. It is so difficult to extend at this campground and difficult to get a deluxe site Im not interested in staying here again. I will go to another KOA in Orlando or another campground all together.
The spots are gigantic, and you can have fires. It is close to shopping and restaurants, so you could park your car and never drive for as long as you are staying there. It is about 20 minutes to the theme parks, depending on traffic. There is a nice walking path along the main road, it is very nice (but lots of traffic). The big drawback to this park is the noise — there are a lot of sirens and cars racing by all hours of the night.
We were in town in June of 2018 for a conference and stayed at this park. It is a great park, very clean and the staff is great. The site was plenty long enough for our motor home and tow car. The only drawbacks were the water pressure was a little low, and the Wi-Fi kept dropping out. This will be our primary stop when we are in the Orlando area.

We needed to stay here for a conference at the World Marriott. It is only 20 minutes from the parks and is a great sized park compared to what is close by. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had a delivery that ended up be broken up into 4 different days and they were helpful to let me know when it had arrived and they had it set aside for me. I did not use the pool, bathrooms or laundry. We reserved the very long sites and yes they are really long!! They even helped me clean up a yucky mess from a lost power freezer. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this KOA for a week in January. This is the nicest KOA we have ever been at and one of best campgrounds (in an urban setting) that we have ever stayed at. The staff are on top of everything and the place is spotless. The sites vary in size and amenities from (standard) grass/gravel, premium with pavement and concrete, and deluxe patio with beautiful table and chairs, new Weber gas grill, fire ring and glider. They also have three fantastic tent sites with personal dishwashing stations, electric, fire pit, table and chairs and glider. We stayed on site 301, the deluxe patio site near the pool and laundry room and were extremely impressed. We used the laundry room - it was spotless - the gym was closed due to COVID. The small swimming pool was also very clean and included a covered patio area with tables. All bathrooms had door locks with a passcode for entry. The Wifi was better than most campgrounds but still a little slow. It had many access points and a code for logging onto the network. The office included a small camp store with a lot of Florida souvenirs. There is a fenced in dog park (that includes a dog washing station!!!), a huge kids playground with an enclosed bouncy house and a half-court basketball hoop. While we were here we saw a lot of pre-teens playing and riding bikes and scooters and just enjoying themselves, it is very kid-friendly. Rates are high, but considering the surrounding area and the condition of the park it was worth every penny. Bigger rigs - Getting into the park is best accomplished by entering NOT at the Seven Dwarfs roadway, but better via Cecile Drive. That road brings you to a left turn onto Happy Campers Dr. and the office is immediately on your left, behind the three tent sites. Big rigs fit in here easily - especially on the extra extra long pull throughs on sites 201-213. Site 301 easily accommodated our 35’ RV and the truck. None of these large sites require a disconnect from tow vehicle to fit comfortably. The only negative, is no security at entry/exit points, there is panhandling at all busy intersections including Seven Dwarfs Dr and we observed some non-campers cutting through the park. ATT LTE download of 5 mbps - Verizon was worse- almost a dead zone.

We decided to stay in Orlando for an additional night, found this KOA and we are glad we stayed here. The campsites were clean and the park is well kept. Each of the campsites we saw had different color tables and chairs, had a little bench seat and a BBQ. The icing on top for me was the little palm tree at our site. Absolutely loved it. Staff was friendly and even let us check in an hour early. Definitely a good place to stay.

Oh, where to begin. First off, the entire time we stayed there the only employee we saw was the gentleman picking up garbage in the morning. The site was poorly maintained and grass was up to my knees. They clearly only maintain big rig sites. We arrived at 5:30 and the front desk was closed and EVERYONE was gone. They had at least 12-18 “after hour” arrivals that evening. We called each morning to try to check in and no one ever got back to us (I guess they just assumed we were there), but don’t worry they definitely charged my credit card. Bathrooms were ok, private with no ventilation. Constant noise from the roadway and helicopter tours flying above. All in all we had a bad experience here and it is a shame because they are 15 minutes from Disney World. Next time we will just pay an arm and a leg to stay in Fort Wilderness.

This is an update to my earlier review. Had a bad experience on our last day. We wanted to fill our propane tank. The propane station wasnt in an obvious location so on our last morning I asked the office if they had a propane fill. I was told it was on back side of pool. Not wanting to blindly drive my Class A back there I walked over to see where it was and how to access it. I was aggressively confronted by an individual (koa employee?) wanting to know my intentions. I explained just looking at how to pull into propane area. He berated me that the area beyond propane is private (looks like employees trailer area). I can understand if I went beyond the propane tank into employee camping area but I was nowhere near going back there. His confronting me was totally unnecessary.
