Great campground! Nice pool and play area and very friendly staff. Nice to have a warm complimentary breakfast in the morning before we headed off to Disney.
We camped here for the first time over the Labor Day holiday weekend. They had lots of extra activities planned on Saturday and Sunday for the holiday weekend. There are also many things for the children and adults to do on a regular weekend. They have a pool, horseshoes, basketball, volleyball, jump pad, exercise facilities, game room, store, petting zoo, and a playground. It is located right off the interstate 95 which makes it easy to access while traveling. Each morning there is a free pancake or waffle breakfast. They also have pizza and dinner delivery to your camper if you choose. The only thing we were not thrilled about was our site. We had a narrow site that actually had the neighbors sewer hook-up right next to our rug outside our camper. The children had to be careful to not step on their pipe. Not all of the sites are this tight! We have chosen a new site for our next visit.

This place seems like it's great for those with kids or looking for someone to make them breakfast. There are alllllll sorts of things for kids - goats, trains, bingo, etc.
Because I have a small motorhome (21 ft) they stuck me on the end of an intersection on grass and couldn't move me due to high capacity. I was about 6-8 ft from the giant RV next to me. The highway was super loud and the roosters in the morning were cute, but annoying.
Bathrooms were clean. I didn't stick around to see much more.

Just as a note we drive a 45ft coach and tow a truck for those who are also needing a place to park a big rig. We just did an overnight here and was very easy to get in and out with no issues as to size.
We had an issue with the electric and they jumped right on it and had it fixed within 20 minutes. The overall staff was pleasant. There are a lot of trees so there is a very low chance on getting satellite tv. There local cable worked fine.

We only stayed overnight so our review is brief. This KOA has a very rustic feel, which we like. There are LOTS of trees, which breaks up the row-after-row of RV feel quite a bit, and the sites are a bit more spacious than normal for a KOA. However, the roads are poor condition, and sites are a mix of overgrown gravel and broken-up concrete. Roads were tight to navigate in a few places (following our escort golf cart we had to make a near U-turn to get into our row). There were a fair number of permanent/long-term residents. We had a little interstate noise but it wasn't bad. There was a nice-sized dog park that we used, and other amenities (pool, playground, etc.) that we didn't use. Wifi is provided by Tengo so we didn't even try, but our Verizon/AT&T worked fine. The price seems a bit high, but that seems to be the case in this location. We'll stay here again for an overnight.

This KOA is very convenient to I95, but does not feel like you're right on the side of an interstate. There are nice trees throughout the park and lots of amenities like a pool, mini golf and a jump pad. They also serve free breakfast every morning which is really good. The only reason I don't give the park 5 stars is for 2 reasons: 1) the kid tax -- charging extra for kids, and 2) the park was nearly empty yet they squashed us in between neighbors on both sides -- I can never understand why so many RV parks cram people right next to each other when there are so many open sites that could be used to spread people out a little more. I don't know of any RV'ers that want to feel crowded by neighbors. Just fyi, Verizon and AT&T work very well there if you need to know that sort of thing.

If you’re looking for wide open spots, this is not for you.
However if you’re looking for a campground with nice amenities for the kids, a really nice staff and clean facilities this would be a great option.
It’s right off I-95, very convenient to Pilot Travel Centers. The staff was amazingly friendly and the food from the little “cafe” on site was good. The whole area was clean and well maintained. Our kids loved the pool, playground and bouncy air trampoline.
However traffic noise was high. Part of the price you pay for literally being right off the interstate.

We came here to escape the hurricane and were pleasantly surprised at this campground. It is fairly small but had a nice pool with a water slide and some other nice amenities for the campers.

Starting with the positives, the staff was great and the campground includes a lot of amenities including a pool and bounce pad for the kids. The pool looked very nice with a waterfall, but it was too cold for me to look too closely. They also have a small putt putt which could use some love. Overall it seemed the whole campground has the right features, just needed some love and attention.
It was a mixed bag of sites with many not having sewer, which we discovered upon arrival. We originally planned to only stay a week. Then when we extended, we forgot that we didn't have sewer connection. Not a big deal since they have an onsite dump, just a pain. We haven't stayed at any KOAs that didn't have full hookups so just a miss on our part. The weekend traffic is high here we could not find a spot to move for the entire time.
This is a very high traffic campground with folks passing through on way to/from Florida. There are also a far number of long-term guests. These spots seemed to have the majority of full hook up sites. The spots were strangely not uniform. All are pull throughs. The picnic tables and fire pits were in different spots or instead of a picnic table, there were table and chairs. One spot had a deck and iron furniture while another was set up with a dog pen. Several were very close to buildings like the MX building. Spot A14 looked very close but had nice furniture. The spots seemed fairly even and for mostly hard packed ground, not cement.
The laundry room was small. The bathrooms and showers were in disarray as they said they were renovating them. The worst part was the water, which had that beach smell and tasted terrible. I think that was not their fault as it seemed to be true at restaurants as well.
I would stay here again if in the area. It was very convenient to the Golden Isles and Amelia Island, but I would be more careful with picking my spot and would bring my own water. I suggest spot 6 for a larger space or A8. Our AT&T wifi worked well during the day, but tended to slow during the evenings. Their free internet worked ok enough.
This looks like a campground that can use some love and updates, but has great potential with room to grow and very fixable issues.
