“a good nights sleep and a memorable breakfast”
Located in Henry County in north central Illinois, Aunt Daisy's is a Bed Breakfast that serves both a good nights sleep and a memorable breakfast, all within an 1890 midwestern home. The home was built in the 1890s by Mary Quirk and her brother. They willed the home to the Catholic Church in 1908 and it served as the rectory until 1988. Many weddings were performed here over the years. Photos of some of the weddings are featured on the staircase to the second floor. Elaborate woodwork, stained glass, and an extensive collection of antiques complement the homes interior. Relax in your room, read a book in the library or enclosed porch, or take in some sun in the gazebo. Explore the music room, where you will find a fully functional 1929 player piano. Relax in your room, where the modern conveniences haven't been forgotten. We welcome both business and leisure guests. Each room contains a king size bed with luxurious high threadcount sheets, outside telephone line, cable TV with VCR, desk, wireless internet capability and a small refrigerator. Complementary bottled waters and soft drinks are included in your room. There is an assortment of popular video titles available at no charge. Most importantly, central heat and air conditioning are controlled within your room. Each room has its own bathroom with a shower. (The King Suite has both a walk in shower and an oversize clawfoot bathtub.)Our goal is to provide choices to make your stay exactly what you want it to be!
