Hitching Post Bed & Breakfast and Ranch

This bed and breakfast is housed in a 100-year-old, two-story rock house. There is a log cabin, cottage, mobile home and ranch headquarters all on-site. All lodging facilities include a kitchen or kitchenette. Enjoy the Cimarron River Valley surrounded by beautiful, rugged mesas or tour the working ranch. Activities such as stagecoach rides, horseback riding by the hour, tours to see the three-state marker, guided trail rides, bird watching and hunting are all available. Guests may view dinosaur tracks or choose to hike nearby Black Mesa. The Hitching Post also provides a step-on guide for tour groups that includes ranch activities, a scenic tour, a country lunch and musical entertainment. Cattle drives and overnight campouts are also available.
