I try to start with 5 stars at the end of each review. I am work while I am traveling so I look at 5 main items, but there are others I don’t really review (laundry, bathrooms, etc.) as I have a Class A. Here are my thoughts in order:
WIFI: - 1 star. You can't even check emails with it. The RV's are so close together the signal probably just can't get to the RV's.
Location to outdoor activities: It is 1/2 mile away from the boardwalk which is great.
Location to dinning: There are a couple of places to eat across the street that are pretty good, and you have the Boardwalk.
Customer Service: They are really nice.
Other: -1 star for being stacked on each other.
Recommendation - Really you want to stay here for the location and it is clean. It's more of a functional place to stay in.

Our Hurricane Harvey Price Gouging Story
My family of three relocated from San Antonio to Houston this summer when I separated from the Air Force after 12 years of active-duty service. My wife, Kit grew up in the Houston bay area, and we were both excited to start new careers and raise our 1 year-old daughter near her extended family. Kit is a high school teacher and I'm a member of the Texas Air National Guard. Since our new-construction home would not be completed before the start of the school year, we were happy to find a furnished, 2-bedroom cabin at Marina Bay RV Resort and planned on living there until our new home was completed. Then Hurricane Harvey hit. We packed our suitcases and evacuated the coast on Friday, August 25th. Over the next few days, we watched the natural disaster unfold on the Weather Channel and through our hotel window in The Woodlands, TX. I called Marina Bay on Wednesday, August 30th to find out if the property had sustained damage and if the surrounding roads had re-opened. The property was damage-free, the manager told me, but its pricing structure had changed.
Instead of the $1445 monthly rate that we had been paying, the cabin would now cost $165 per night. So, effective immediately, the average nightly rate more-than-tripled from $51.61/night ($1445 every 28 days) to $165/night ($4950/month). No advance notice. No grace period. No exceptions. And at $4950/month, we were priced-out of the cabin that we had occupied since early July.
Completion of our new home has been delayed indefinitely due to the storm. We were fortunate enough to find other accommodations in a timely manner, and our family of three packed-up and moved (again) when the storm clouds cleared. But I don't know how other Marina Bay occupants fared, considering the housing shortages resulting from the storm.
The price hike was legal, the Marina Bay manager explained, as rental property is not subject to the Consumer Protection Act. Regardless of its legality, tripling rental rates before the flood waters had receded stands in stark contrast to the generosity and compassion displayed by so many business owners and fellow citizens in the aftermath of the storm.
While evacuated, I volunteered for a mobile dialysis team, which worked around-the-clock to coordinate transportation for stranded nurses and patients in order to facilitate life-saving treatment to over one thousand dialysis patients. I witnessed acts of kindness, selflessness, and a sense of community--that we're all in this together. On the other hand, Marina Bay ownership saw a business opportunity and moved quickly to boost profits without any regard for how many families its increased rents would displace.

This is a friendly, clean park next to a small lake. It is convenient to Houston Space Center and to the Kemah boardwalk. The spots are tiny, and I mean really tiny. If I stood between us and our neighbor and put my arms out I would touch both RVs easily.
So it's not a great park from that point of view, but I think the convenience and friendliness makes up for it.
The "price gouging after hurricane" stories are false; they have answered this complaints and it is just people being unreasonable.

I'm not much a of reviewer, but Marina Bay exceeded our expectations. We travel for work and were only in the area a short time. it was easy to make a reservation- the lady on the phone was knowledgeable and very kind. When we checked in, the manager on site was also very helpful. We went to a pull in site #71 and had no trouble turning in and hooking up our 43 foot 5th wheel. They have a fishing pier, a nice gym, 3 pools. Our little ones enjoyed the pier area. All in all, it was a great place and we will be back.

This use to be a nice resort. However, half the rigs are well beyond poorly maintained10 years old and every site seems to have 2-3 vehicles. Sites have extra trailers and even boats parked in front of their sites making it near impossible to drive by. We were going to stay 5 nights but for fear that on the weekend we would never be able to pull out we left early. The pools are full of debris and not heated as they claim. This place has turned into a trailer park dump. Never again. Oh if you do stay here you have to pay the full amount up front and zero refunds if you cancel at anytime.

Been staying here off and on for 6 years and just recently the manager changed and everything is going down hill from here, park has people leaving daily and saying they will not come back here. Apparently the owner is out of touch with what has been going on here, are he doesn’t care. I’m self employed myself but I be damn if I would let someone cause me to Lose any more of my customers.

My family and I have been here for 5 years. We have been so very happy with our stay. Management is on top of things- She has cleaned the park up, gotten rid of unruly campers, parked boats and is so friendly. My kids love her. Clean bathrooms, pools, community room, fishing pier, wifi, cable, laundry with new machines and community events all make Marina Bay Home. My family and I could not be happier. There are no longer any fees, KWH are low, and all the staff is amazing. The NEW manager has done a great job. I definitely recommend USA RV Marina Bay!!
