The Workhouse Kansas City Historic Castle

Disappointed! Very cool structure! But all the graffiti and trash around made it creepy and a little scary! So sad they have destroyed such an amazing built building with spray paint and trash!

Easy entry, no gate or locked areas when we went. Cool place for unique photo ops, though it was completely covered in trash. Pretty sad that the city isn’t doing anything to restore it. Looked like there was a similar property across the street that was in better condition but not accessible.

This is a historic Jail house castle. There were a few people who had stopped to see it, although it had quit a bit of griffitie, do not let this hold you back from seeing it.
There are opening in the back that you can get in and explore if you are not a fared too.

Its quit something to see.
My Children 9 and 11 wanted to go in, but husband would not allow it hehehe.
