Where you can make your own dino friend.
Anyone who has been to rainforest Cafe in disneyland, LA, has basically been to T-rex Cafe. Food is good, and priced reasonably well, however thats where the frugal nature leaves. This place is a money pit, through and through. Be prepared to wait a long time (if you go during the busy part of the day), and have your kids begging for you to buy stuff from the store. T-rex Cafe is an amazing restaurant, with am amazing layout, however you get what you pay for, and in this case, you get ALOT, but you'll also pay ALOT.
Loved this place!! Setting is awesome..a little loud but really neat. My kids are dinosaur fanatics so it was dinosaur heaven for them! Food was pretty good but the gift shop attached including Build A Dino was awesome!! Tons of dinosaurs and dinosaur related items to choose from! Would definitely do it again!
This place definitely caters to children and the adults with them. We were clearly the only table of all adults but they have a full bar which they seated us near and we had fun. The food is surprisingly not bad.... not great but it is decent. A lot better than we expected. We were pleased with the quality of food and the service was fine - no complaints. Fun place to stop by.
This place is super cool! The food is decent (I had the Omnivore's Delight salad which was quite good, others at my table thought the food was average). The decor, however, is what you go for. Dinosaurs everywhere, inside and out! Great place for kids and cool gift shop with a build-a-dinosaur place in the back (like Build-A-Bear).
This place was wayyyyy overrated. It is pretty cool with all of the dinosaurs but it's SO loud, service in not great, food is mediocre and prices are HIGH. My 4 boys usually bring up how long we had to wait there and how far they had to walk to the bathroom. They don't remeber it as "fun".
