Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on June 01, 2021We stayed here one night on our way west on I70. Easy access to and from the highway but still quiet. Owners were very nice and were accommodating even with a very late check-in. The grounds are run down and the facilities are not up to date but it worked well for us for a one night stop.
Very friendly folks

The people here were very very friendly and it was easy to get a spot! There was water, electric, and sewer at our site.

We were looking for an overnite stop off of I-70 and saw this place listed. So decided to stop. We immediately decided NOT to stay. The entrance is the first clue. Very junky. Unfortunately, we had pulled into the entrance and there was no way to get out without driving through the CG. It is definitely not even medium-sized rig friendly due to the overgrown trees, but worse than that it appears like a junkyard with a few permanent residents. A man came up to us as we were trying get back out and was pretty unfriendly even though I said we had decided not to stay there and were trying to leave. We then got phone calls and texts trying to get me to call them, but it is not a place that needs any further engagement than the 2 minutes we spent trying to leave there.
Didn't stop to take pictures because the place was so unsettling.

This place has fallen behind on maintenance for sure. The on site laundry is a hard no. The office is a mess. Trees scratched the top of my class C and it was a tight fit otherwise. There are several 5th wheels that are/should be abandoned on the lot.
In my situation, I needed electricity and privacy to work. I got that. The owners received and delivered mail for me. Water and sewage worked. No one felt the need to touch my gear. My neiyou'ghbor was a nice guy. The owner was friendly to me.
I understand why people would nope out of this place. I nearly did, but it was late and I didn't have a good plan b. If you're looking for a place to plug in and be left alone, this is a good spot for it.

Was in the area for work and stayed 2 weeks. The place could use a good cleanup but it’s was a pleasant experience. Pull through sites with full hookups.

It looks like it was once a charming little RV park with some guest cabins on the edge of a little pond . Sadly right now it’s very rundown but workable in a pinch. The pad sites were flat, there are nice shade trees. We didn’t use the water. The electrical hook up was fine we use 30 amp service. There are dump stations in each site and picnic tables. The owners were friendly enough. Sadly there is lots of junk around the entire campground. Hopefully, somebody will restore its former glory, it could be a really cute RV park.

It’s an older campground with friendly caretaker. This is not a “new” campground, but is quaint, country area that’s feels like it’s off the beaten path but just right off of I70
We will stay again as we travel this route to see family!
No TV air signals due to trees, but did have cell service and hotspot internet.

As has been mentioned in other reviews, the staff are very nice but know what you’re getting into before you go. This is not a high quality campground, this is a live in trailer park with a few spots open for nightly rent. Nothing, I repeat, nothing is well kept. It works if you need a quick stay over but know that this is not a well kept place to stay, we did not feel comfortable here

I agree with other reviews that the campground seems worn down, but I have never encountered such a helpful and nice host. The camping was nice even though there were quite a few permanent residents.
