“steamy goodness.”
Located nine miles north of Jemez Springs, this spring is set in the beauty of the Santa Fe National Forest. Park at Forest Rd. 376 north, then hike five miles to the spring whose temperature hovers around 129 degrees.
Hands down the best natural hot spring in the area! It’s one of the hottest public ones around. It’s easiest to get here with a high clearance vehicle. The road is rough, but it’s worth the hassle. Get there early to avoid crowds and enjoy time to yourself. Bathing suits are optional.
