Galveston's beaches don't look anything like this. I'm not saying it's not fun to go , but don't go for the pretty beaches because you'll be disappointed.

don't go anywhere in Galveston. This picture was probably taken in 1846 before all the oil rigs, the beach is nasty and brown water all around.

Very nice beach. You should totally stop. You can even park on the beach!!!
