“over 5 miles of beaches!”

With more than five miles of beautiful, white sandy beaches, Little Talbot Island is one of the few remaining undeveloped barrier islands in Northeast Florida. Maritime forests, desert-like dunes and undisturbed salt marshes on the western side of the island allow for hours of nature study and relaxation. The diverse habitats in the park host a wealth of wildlife for viewing, including river otters, marsh rabbits, bobcats and a variety of native and migratory birds. Surrounding surf and tidal streams present excellent fishing for bluefish, striped bass, redfish, flounder, mullet and sheepshead. Other popular park activities include hiking, kayaking, beachcombing, surfing and picnicking. Beachside picnic pavilions are available for use by park visitors and can be reserved in advance for a fee. A full-facility campground is located along the eastern salt marshes of Myrtle Creek. Kayak rentals and guided paddle tours are available.

This is the type of review I hate to write, since it will attract more people to this incredible gem in North Florida. My family camped here for two nights - facilities, park team, and overall park were fantastic. The beach was perfect, 5 miles of untouched sand and nature. No condos, no homes, just pure dunes, sand and water. This is my families new 2nd favorite location in Florida. If you want quite beach time this is the place. I highly suggest the Dunes Ridge Trail - you exit right at the top of the beach.

Little Talbot Island Park and beach are a proper paradise for busy people! The sense of freedom you enjoy when you get there is unbelievable! Greenery..water...sand...sky...all these combined create an attractive place for relaxation.
The sea was calm and it invites you to join her beauty!

Clear water, available for swimming, toilet facilities close to the beach and in order to park the car the fee is only $5!!

Already in plans to re-visit this place next year! Don't miss out!
