“Adrenaline-pumping thrill rides”

Stats: The Kingda Ka is the longest steel roller coaster drop, and fastest coaster in America.

Do you want to launch yourself 128 miles an hour in 3.5 seconds? The Kingda Ka holds the record as not only the longest steel roller coaster drop, but the fastest coaster in America! You may know us for our adrenaline-pumping thrill rides. But the fact is, we have just about every kind of ride for every kind of rider. So whether you want to defy gravity, get soaked or just go for a spin, you'll find what you're looking for right here. Here's how to zero in on rides that are just your speed.

Coming Summer 2014: the ZUMANJARO, a roller coaster AND a drop tower that stands taller than the Statue of Liberty. The roaring coasters zip by at 90 MPH while the drop tower rockets riders towards the ground at a staggering 128 MPH, making it the tallest, fastest drop ride in the US.

‘Zumanjaro solidifies Six Flags Great Adventure’s dominance as the Northeast’s thrill capital,’ said John Fitzgerald, park president. He later told the Detroit Free Press: 'You’re going to have folks dropping 90 mph. 'You’re going to have the Kingda Ka cars racing around them at the same time. It’s really going to be fantastic. Fantastic views, but also terribly exciting.'
Park spokesperson Kristin Siebeneicher echoes her boss's enthusiasm. ‘It's definitely exciting that we are breaking a world record,’ Siebenecher told the New York Daily News.
Six Flags Great Adventure & Safari is a theme park in Jackson Township, Ocean County, New Jersey, United States, owned by Six Flags Entertainment Corp..
