Cool easy stop along the 395

Short easy walk to an interesting and beautiful spot. Didn’t find any fossils but well worth the stop.

Right off the road. Looks like it's being plowed up though, but trucks hauling out dirt and rocks. But we found some really cool rocks. Enjoy!

This is an interesting and, (if not in the middle of a hot day), easy walk. The basalt formations here were carved by water flowing over an immense lava flow eons ago. It is just part of the volcanic activity visible in the Owens River Valley.
