“in the heart of the North American Continent”
Voyageurs is a maze of interconnected water highways. Plan ahead before coming to this water-based park by bringing your own watercraft, reserving a watercraft, or taking a park ranger boat tour.
We couldn't see the Northern Lights. It was a high expectation, and we will try again! Other than that, we probably don't come here since we are not lake people.
Smaller national park with less crazy scenery but it’s the best up north sights you can get.
One of the smaller National Parks it sees less people but provides a great escape into nature. I would recommend checking the weather conditions in advance and plan on renting a boat or kayak to explore the islands that contain hiking opportunities.
