Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on January 11, 2022Gravel sites with full hookup. Helpful camp host. Sites were slightly flooded due to rain. Other amenities include laundry and showers. Small restaurant on premises. We stayed on a Saturday and it was closed. Plenty of dining options in nearby Effingham. Am not sure about noise as it rained during our stay so no airplane traffic.

Five miles from the highway. Long pull through level sites so we didn’t have to unhitch the tow. Very friendly camp host who stopped by to collect the fee and make sure we were all set. Great night’s sleep.

Very nice for over night camping. Host is very friendly and site is level. We stayed there because of the air strip, but unfortunately no landing or takeoff.

We spent the night here on our way home. There are full hook ups but not much else. The camp host was very friendly as was the owner when making reservations.

Smallish campground, but full hookups. If you are on your way up or down I57, this is a great overnight stop! Quite a few permanent residents, but overall a great stay for us!

Very basic and simple. The sites pull in from alternating directions to share hookups. Ok for overnight otherwise a big negative. Everyone is friendly and cost is low.

When I arrived I called Shiela, who owns the park, and she came down right away to greet me. I hadn’t had a reservation, and she takes cash, check and Venmo as a form of payment. She got me in a great level spot and her host showed me all the hookups and even helped me when I had a gasket issue. Very quiet area with a cute view of the cornfield. Occasionally you hear a helicopter but I don’t mind that at all.
