Heat wave rolling through Southern Utah that had most fulltime RV travelers with plans of outdoor adventures heading north or into Colorado instead. We were going to do the same but are glad we didn't!
This park has tremendous amounts of shade trees to give us the break from the heat we needed and to shade our Hi-lo for ample AC cooling!
Barbara, the manager, worked us in and turned a 2 night stay into 7! She runs a tight ship for her park and employees and it shows in the Meticulously kept grounds.
The town is roughly 20 minutes to the gates of Zion but there's hiking and beauty all around!

This is a super tidy, organized RV park. Nearly everyone had very large rigs. There is a small grass yard for tents only but they lump you all together. Sleeping in your truck/car is not allowed, unless you have a camper. Dogs are allowed, but check for breed restrictions. It says there is a dog park, but it's not fenced off and just dirt. Every site has a concrete pad, full hook ups and lots of shade trees, plus a grassy lawn (a few had rock lawns). Many people stay here seasonally. $400 a month someone told us. One lady said she lives there full time, we met her while she took her cat for a walk. It was a pretty quiet place, not many folks outside of their RVs enjoying nice weather. No picnic tables. What I liked the most besides being super tidy, were the shade trees and full individual bathrooms/showers which were included in your stay! While not our usual style of camping, we would stay here again if we needed solid lodging options while visiting Zion Country and didn't want to hunt down free spots on short notice or on a big Zion event weekend. Showers were great for our friend who ran a trail race.

Nice park with full hook ups. However sites are very close together and needed extensions for power and cable. Our 42' 5th wheel just fit and had to squeeze our truck next to it. Offer on site propane delivery.
We were there during 2 weeks of Spring Break so it was very busy but not noisy.
There's a Doggie Day Care just a mile away, Stay and Play, that is very reasonable so you can visit Zion without worrying about your dog.

This RV Park in Hurricane Utah, is one of the nicest parks we have stayed at in our travels. The streets are paved and each of the spaces have long concrete pads, and most have grassy yards and lots of trees. Only the newest section of the Park has rock yards and no/very young trees.
There are many full-time residents here, but in very well-maintained spaces, with no overflow of junk around the units.
The bathroom and laundry facilities are well maintained, as well as the grounds. Even the garbage dumpsters are disguised to keep the park clean-looking. They even have some tipis to rent for nights.
The Park is very close to town, with a grocery store about 1/2 block away, as well as plenty of other stores. It is about 30-40 minutes to Zion National Park, and a couple of very nice State Parks are closer by.
Verizon worked well for us, but also the Park WiFi was surprisingly good while we were there.

This park is clean and simple. The restrooms are clean and the sites are nice. Many sites are shaded with mature trees, a few had low branches so large rigs beware. This park was super quiet which we appreciated, it felt restful. It is one hour from Zion's south entrance, so if you are planning to head in to the park, plan accordingly as this will add a good amount of travel time onto your day. Overall, this was a quiet and safe place to use as a base-camp.

Just as advertised, nice level concrete pads, small grassy areas by each site. One fenced dog area, one open area. Price is $45 with Good Sam discount, $50 without. Very friendly and efficient at check in. One of the nicest parks we’ve seen.
Negative: typical RV park small sites.

We have stayed here about 6 times in the last 10 years. It is nicer every time we come back. It is also getting more and more popular, particularly with side by side enthusiasts. The sites are long, somewhat narrow. There are a lot of trees, which further reduce site width in a lot of cases. We were unable to extend our awning on our last stay.

We love this park. Great location for access to Sand Hollow, St. George and even Zion. Hookups were great. The place is SUPER-DUPER clean and the staff is absolutely outstanding. Flawless 50 amp service, and great water pressure. The sewer hook up is a little weird. It works fine and it's recessed into the ground so everything flows down hill (if you know what I mean). However, the connection is SO far recessed into the ground that the threads on my dealy-ma-bobber wouldn't catch. So, it just sorta stuck in there. I stuck a big rock on it to hold it in and it wasn't a problem, but it was noteworthy. I looked around, and most people had the same issue. Again, no problem, but if you have a sandbag or something you'll want to use it. All the sites are different in size it seems. We were in 113.. and it was tight. No real outside space to work with. Some sites seemed larger but not by much. So.. expect to use the common areas or spend lots of time inside. No fire pits at the sites (probably because they are so close). Overall, a really nice place, nice people and a nice location. We'd probably look for a wider site next time we come.

Stayed here for 6 nights visiting the National Parks. 20 miles from Zion, 2.5 hours to Bryce. Great location in Hurricane. Friendly people. Full timers keep their items neat and tidy. Grounds are clean, laundry facilities are great, the staff is great, etc etc etc. The only downside is there are NO picnic tables at the sites. We asked and the staff mentioned that they stopped providing due to clients setting fire to them, so it makes sense.
Would definitely stay here again.
