Stewart's Drive-In

Stewart’s was originally a family-style, fast-food drive-in restaurant made popular by carhops serving classic American food, and of course, the world famous Stewart’s Root Beer. It has now evolved into Full Service sit down restaurants, Express Kiosk Units, Mobile Concession Food Trailers and “The Original Drive-In®”!  


Started in 1924 by Frank Stewart, a schoolteacher in Mansfield, Ohio, Stewart set out to create the world’s creamiest, best tasting root beer. He and a chemist specially formulated the root beer, blending 20 different extracts of roots, herbs, and berries to create the world-famous Stewart’s Root Beer. Since he opened his first drive-in to supplement his teacher’s income, Frank Stewart’s exceptional root beer, classic frankfurters and juicy hamburgers have been enjoyed for over 88 years.


Nowadays, you can take serve the legend with Stewart’s products that honor Frank’s time-tested principles dating back to his first roadside stand.
