Gandy House Bed & Breakfast

The Gandy House B&B, Humboldt, NE is located just off highway 105, which goes through Humboldt, between highways 4 and 8. It is 75 miles south of Lincoln, Ne; 90 miles south of Omaha, Ne; and 120 miles north of Kansas City, MO. It is one block north of Humboldt's Historic Commercial district and City Square. There are three upstairs bedrooms: Blue Room with a queen size bed; Gold room with two double beds; and Green room with queen size bed. The upstairs shared full bathroom features an antique 6 1/2 foot bathtub and separate shower. It is also complete with a hair dryer and iron. There is also a full bathroom with shower downstairs. Each bedroom contains a ceiling fan and room-controled air conditioner and also features extra pillows and blankets, chair, reading lamp, flashlight and alarm clock. In the downstairs area, you can relax in the large sun room, sit in the glider on the front porch, watch televison or a movie on the DVD/VCR player by the working wood fireplace in the living room or listen to music on the CD player or read a book in the parlor. The dining room contains two tables that can seat up to six per table. There are extra tables and folding chairs available for use. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, silverware, cooking utensils and pots and pans. Also paper products are available. It contains a Bunn coffee pot with various types of coffee, tea and a water fountain for cold/hot water. Also available is a refrigerator, microwave, stove, oven and dishwasher for use by guests. The free laundry contains a washer and dryer with laundry soap and dryer cloths for guests convenience.
