Alpine Inn and motel is located in the historic district one mile north of historic downtown / bathhouse row and close to the below attractions. The Inn has two suites in the main house and the motel has 14 rooms, three of which are in the cottage house (Rose room, Beach room and Garden Suite). This place has been purchased and renovated. It's called the Gold Inn.
It's very cute!!! We're staying there this weekend.

This place is very clean. Parking is free but probably works better for smaller cars. One issue I had was that the a/c was a window unit in the bathroom. So if you shut the door the main room would heat up quickly and the bathroom was always to cold. We were in a smaller queen room, the other night not be set up that way. Hotel is near downtown but about a mile downhill, we probably could have walked but found it easier to drive. Owner seemed very nice.

Y'all....this place is so amazing I hardly want to share my little secret! It's clean and the location is perfect and the owners are delightful....I only share my secret so it will still be up and running the next time I visit!
