10 minute or less walk through the dune grass and wind blown pine to the beach. Miles of beach! No wind at the campground just peace and quiet.
We stayed during the VERY wet season and there was standing rainwater in numerous places so bring a pair of boots. Boots were required to exit our site due to standing water.
I imagine the place would be packed in the summer. Sites are pretty close and privacy is in short supply if that's important to you.
4 loops to choose from with various amenities in different loops. We were in loop 4 and had full hookups. No WiFi and Verizon data was limited. Don't know about other carriers. It was a great weekend and we would return.

Very nice camp ground close to Ocean Shores (town) and Quinault Casino, did not rain, weather was pretty good. We were there mid May. Both won at Casino, enjoyed the beach, and town very much. Would recommend a visit to anyone. Satellite worked for tv, iPads and iPhone did not work. Went to Casino to use WiiFi and phone.

I came in to stay mid week during August and there were numerous sites to choose from. I was impressed by the amount of privacy and shade trees between the sites. Two of the loops have easy access to the beach trail and it is about a 1/4 mile walk to the dunes. Be choosy in picking your site if you require a short walk to the restroom. It can be a long walk depending on where you set up! I enjoyed the quietness of the campground and the ability to hear the ocean waves.

We were so happy to stumble upon this incredible campground within a beautiful state park. The sites are all level, lots of privacy nestled in the forest, incredibly clean bathrooms and showers! The easy hike out to the vast and raw beach is well worth the time! We had no cell or Wi-Fi service which might be a problem for some; for us it was a bonus… Helps to completely unplug! Note: we are an active middle-aged couple traveling in self made Ford transit van. This place is incredible

We arrived just after a big “pineapple express” rain storm to the pnw. Several sites were flooded and we drove through 6-9” of water on the campground loop. The sewer hookups stick up above the ground about a foot, so we just dumped at the station on the way out (where it’s at ground level). It was a very nice trail to the beach with native dune grass and shore pine. The comfort station was immaculate with individual rooms. We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights in late November 2020. The campground was a bit wet, but that was to be expected in Northwest winter. One of the trails to the beach was flooded, but we camped right next to the better trail that goes through the day use parking lot. Our site was a pull-through and very private. Most sites were large and had good privacy. The bathrooms and showers were super clean and new! Will definitely come back and hoping to make use of the group camp site when they open up again.

Nice state park. Way too hot on the eastside for me n the dogs, so I had hoped to find a place on the cooler coast and was lucky enough to get one for 3 consecutive nights, in the otherwise full state park. Nice park, 180(?) spots in 4 loops with only one of the loops having hookups (maybe 20 fhu spots total?). The spots were all well spaced and big, most were in the trees and well screened from each other.
There is plenty of pond water nearby and as a result, the mosquitos were a minor nuisance in the morning and evening. Bring the bug spray, citronella candles, bug house and you'll be fine. Or just head to the beach. Depending on which loop you camp in, the beach is walkable, maybe a 1/4 to 1/2 mile, but driving into Ocean Shores and accessing the drivable beach there with your car is a kick too.
Older reviews have noted a lack of cell service, but maybe that has changed. I had TMobile connect with partial 5G and about 3 bars of 4G on 2 different devices. Better than I expected and more than enough for me.

We stayed in Loop 4, full hookups. The site itself was a private pull-through site. Website said under 35ft but we were able to fit our 36ft+TOAD in without any issues. Strange sewer connection that seems to be designed so you can’t keep it connected. Bathrooms were clean and each toilet and sink is it’s own room. Token showers, bill changer is provided at the entrance building. Easy walkway to the beach from within this loop. Verizon signal is spotty, and couldn’t be improved even with directional booster antenna. 4-5mbps at best.
